Production technology for glued laminated timber

Вид склеенного бруса
Softwood sawlogs (pine, spruce) are sawn into timber of the required dimensions.
Timber is sorted by quality and allowable wood defects.
The selected timber is dried to the required moisture content level.
Board defects are cut out.
The resulting blanks are finger-jointed along the length to produce a lamella, which is a component of glued laminated timber. The lamellas are then planed.
It features minimal height shrinkage.
The timber is profiled.
Interlocking joints are cut according to the project documentation.
