Glued laminated timber is the highest quality building material which is produced on the basis of special technologies and which is belonged to the category of modern building materials. The cost of glued laminated timber is more expensive than usual, but having all the advantages of wood, this material is almost devoid of its disadvantages, and therefore its advantages make up for the difference in price.
The main advantages of glued laminated timber:
✓ it does not change its shape during operation;
✓ it has a higher strength compared to regular wood;
✓ it has a minimum height shrinkage;
✓ it is susceptible to cracking during its operation in a lesser degree;
✓ it has high quality of front surfaces and it does not require additional finishing;
✓ grooves and ridges along the length of the wall beam fix the beam rigidly in the wall and they are water-resistant.
Technology of production of glued laminated timber
All the advantages of glued laminated timber are explained by the process of its production, which consists of several consecutive operations.
✓ Specially selected logs, usually made of coniferous species (pine, spruce) are cut on boards.
✓ Boards are selected.
✓ The selected boards are dried to the required humidity level.
✓ The defects of boards are cut out.
✓ The received parts are jointed along the length on a mini-spike and lamellas are received, it is a component part of glued laminated timber.
✓ Lamellas are sliced and glued on a special press into beams. Special water-resistant environmentally friendly glue AkzoNobel (Sweden) is used for lamellas gluing, which meets the international standard and does not violate the ability of wood to "breathe".
✓ The beam is profiled.
✓ Interlocking corners are cut according to the project documentation.

50*350*200-300(h)mm;
50-300*200-600(h)mm.
Glued beams
80-300*100-250(h)mm.
The maximum length of the beam is 18 meters!
In agreement with the customer, it is possible to manufacture beams of other section.
